Sweeten Sour

Lindsey Michelle Elizabeth Jonas, known professionally as Sweeten Sour, Baton Twirler, Baton Switch or in German as Sauer Versüßen, is a majorette at a marching band in Canterlot High School (CHS). She's the younger sister to Sour Sweet and an aunt to Blueberry Muffin, Huckleberry Pie and Princess Hildegard.

Appearance[]

Sweeten has a pale, light grayish gold skin tone, she has a long moderate rose hair with lighter moderate rose streaks tied in a pair of buns and has aquamarine eyes.

Her marching band attire consists of a long-sleeved majorette uniform with yellow strings and shoulder pads, a white high-waist skirt, mask and gloves as well as blue knee-high boots with yellow linings along with blue pants.
Her casual outfit consists of a pair of white and reddish-pink high-heel boots, jacket and shirt. She wears blue gloves and a mask and her hair is tied into a ponytail to resemble her big sister and Sci-Twi.

Personality[]

Not much is known about her but Baton seems like a nice girl and shares the same fierce nature of Rainbow Dash. In the film The Quest for Equestria, Sweeten has a strong desire of watching the old Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates suggested by Blueberry Muffin, Huckleberry Pie and Princess Hildegard.

Friendship Games[]

Sweeten Sour appears in the film Friendship Games as a marching band leader in Canterlot High School (CHS) during the CHS Rally Song. She twirls the baton during the song and has an aggressive side as Rainbow Dash.

Sweeten Sour makes a cameo appearance in Queen of Clubs as Applejack photobombs her marching band's photo for the CHS yearbook club.

Sweeten Sour makes her first speaking role in The Quest for Equestria as she is watching the old Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates with the Mane 10 (Applejack, Fluttershy, Gordon Robinson, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Sebastian Robinson, Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle), the Amber Crew (Amber, Hildegard, Blueberry, Huckleberry, Derpy, Emelina, Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops), the Trixie Crew (Blueberry Cake, Jade, Lucinda, Norman, Ruby, Snips, Snails and Trixie), the Cutie Mark Crusaders (Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Babs Seed, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon and Vivian), Photo Finish, Potion Nova, Moondancer and Coco Pommel while her big sister is away. In addition, she's also impressed with Huck's demonstration of the Forever Sword owned by Jake. She and Lyra Heartstrings also have a late night video talk with Jake and Sofia and her name is mentioned by Fleur de Lis to Izzy. And thus, after arriving at Mount Olympus, Washington, Sweeten has been scolded by Sour Sweet for making Jake and Sofia fall asleep all morning as a result of having a late night video chat, being the members of the convoy who climbs up the West Peak of Washington's Mount Olympus, flying up into the sky in the style of Peter Pan due to Izzy's tiny bag of Pixie Dust, preparing a picnic spot by the side of Lunch Lake via Blueberry Cake's help and also gathered around the fire at night, witnessing that Shuriki invades Equestria. She is also banished to Las Pegasus after failing her attempt to confront Shuriki after she kidnaps Sofia. She later appears during the film's credits walking out of Canterlot High School with the Pirate Princess as Nathellie Ballerie gives the duo 2 vehicles: a Klassen Sprinter for the Pirate Princess and a new AMG E53 Inline-6 for Sweeten herself as promised. Afterwards, the duo speeds out of Cleveland, Ohio with their new vehicles.

Prince Jacob Wilde[]

Sweeten returns in the film Prince Jacob Wilde as two children who happens to be Toola Roola and Coconut Cream came to her house until Sweeten allows them to enter. Only to find the Amber Crew (Princess Amber, Princess Hildegard, Blueberry Muffin, Emelina Grace, Huckleberry Pie, Lyra Heartstrings, Sweetie Drops and Derpy Hooves) and the Cutie Mark Crusaders (Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Babs Seed, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon and Vivian) watching the old Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates together in the living room, Hildegard tells the kiddies about Jake being Sofia's boyfriend, leaving a shocked Toola Roola and Coconut Cream until DT gives the duo a DVD of the old Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates, much to their joy. Afterwards, Sweeten, Toola Roola, Coconut Cream, the Amber Crew and the Cutie Mark Crusaders left for Equestria.

Sweeten is among the characters who fights the Legion of Doom (including Shuriki) and her final appearance was when Jacob is crowned as Equestria's new king.

Lemon Zest Rules[]

Sweeten returns in Lemon Zest Rules as she came to the Mane 10's house to look after Luster Dawn and Terramar during her sister's absence to Germany. In addition, she and the Amber Crew are unaware that Luster is Starlight Glimmer's daughter and Sunset Shimmer's niece, besides Terramar being Silverstream's little brother. Claiming that Luster hasn't seen both her mother and her aunt for 66 years, a sympathetic Sweeten cheers up both Luster and Terramar that both Starlight Glimmer and Sunset Shimmer returns from Germany soon enough.

A Swashbuckling Vacation[]

In the film A Swashbuckling Vacation, Sweeten's name is mentioned by Polomare to the Callisto family (from the TV show Miles From Tomorrowland) who happens to be Loretta, Leo, Miles, MERC and Captain Phoebe Callisto while camping at night in the middle of the forest.

Malaysia's Most Wanted[]

Sweeten returns in the film Malaysia's Most Wanted as she, the Amber Crew (Princess Amber, Princess Hildegard, Lyra Heartstrings, Sweetie Drops, Blueberry Muffin, Derpy Hooves, Emelina Grace and Huckleberry Pie), the Crusaders (Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Babs Seed, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon and Vivian), Cubby, Izzy, Jake, Jewel, Sofia, the Shadowbolts (Fleur de Lis, Indigo Zap, Kadence Ann, Lemon Zest, Clio, Zooey, her big sister, Sugarcoat, Sunny Flare, Suri Polomare), Octavia, DJ Pon-3, Loretta, Miles, Nova, Photo Finish and Wallflower Blush began to freak out when the Mane 10 (Applejack, Fluttershy, Gordon, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Sebastian, Starlight, Sunset and Twilight) ended up getting themselves stranded in Malaysia by themselves.

Across the film, she ended up travelling across Peninsular Malaysia visiting the most interesting places, in addition to learning history about Malaysia's landmarks.

Queen Lyla Grace[]

Sweeten returns in the film Queen Lyla Grace as she pulls over to the nearest Sweet Snacks Café for lunch on the way home from work. Upon arriving at the diner, she took a seat until Leo Callisto and Captain Phoebe appears ahead of her, much to her shock. The trio introduce themselves until waitresses Pinkie Pie, Doo Wop and Sunny Sugarsocks began to take their order. Leo orders a baloney sandwich, Phoebe orders a ribeye steak and Sweeten orders a bowl of mushroom soup with slices of toast. After a few minutes, their meals have arrived and the trio enjoys their lunch together.

Sherlock Brianna Motte[]

Sweeten returns in the film Sherlock Brianna Motte as she, Blueberry, Hildegard and Huckleberry arrives at Amber's house, only to find Amber, Bon Bon, Derpy, Emelina and Lyra sleeping down the basement as a result of watching the old Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates all day and night. Subsequently followed by Kerfuffle, an angry Sweeten yells at Amber, Bon Bon, Derpy, Emelina, Kerfuffle and Lyra for sleeping down the basement until Kerfuffle hasn't met Jake, Izzy and Cubby before. And thus, a concerned Sweeten allows Kerfuffle to join with her AMG E53 and Lyra's new 2016 Lexus GX460 Luxury.

Throughout the film, Sweeten becomes concerned as the name Nahwan Nafisah does not make sense to her until she meets Nafisah, joins the war in Hawaii to battle the evil enchantress Mamanu and rescues Lani, Sofia and Twilight. In addition, she also took a chance to visit Hakalo towards the end of the film.

The Amber Crew's New Members[]

Sweeten returns in the film The Amber Crew's New Members in which she is seen sitting in her big sister's Jaguar XJ8 by the front passenger's seat followed by Papa's Pancakeria workers Cooper and his girlfriend Prudence as well as Fashion Flambé sales associate Trishna sitting in the backseats. The two sisters asks Cooper and Prudence about their trip across Equestria with Nahwan Nafisah in the first film until Sweeten mentions Nafisah to Trishna, what a Nahwan is and where she came from. She also camps with The Amber Crew telling stories together and meets Dipper and Mabel Pines for the very first time.
