Ashley Susan Elizabeth "Sunflower" Seed is a character featured in the film To Malaysia We Go. She is Babs Seed's big sister and the cousin to both Applejack and Apple Bloom who is unidentified in the show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

A human version of Sunflower makes debut in the MLP: FIM x Jake and the Never Land Pirates film series starting with the film To Malaysia We Go in which Nahwan Nadhirah bumps into her for not looking ahead while at the supermarket, prompting the duo to introduce each other. Only to discover that the word Nahwan is too hard to identify, Nadhirah adds that a Nahwan indicates Wise and Intelligence in the Islamic religion, fascinating Sunflower. Nevertheless, she and Nadhirah went shopping together.
Throughout the film, Sunflower is curious about a trio of children in pirate clothes until Nadhirah mentions Jake, Izzy and Cubby, prompting Nadhirah to give Sunflower a DVD of the Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. When she arrives at Nadhirah's house and ended up meeting Nadhirah's big sister for the first time (including Amy, Elle, Hope and Steven as well), Sunflower is concerned at Nafisah watching the Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates all this time until Nafisah explains that Jake, Izzy and Cubby entered Crystal Prep Academy a long time ago in order to reunite with Sofia, leading to both Crystal Prep Academy and Canterlot High School students watch Jake and the Never Land Pirates more often. And thus, a thrilled Sunflower excels to watch Jake and the Never Land Pirates for the first time. She also took a chance to meet Velvet Sky and Princess Lani for the first time while Paisley is away, prompting Nafisah to look after the duo.
