Starlight Heather Kelly Fitzgerald, commonly known by her surname Fitzgerald, is the placeholder name for a female human who is a background character across the Equestria Girls franchise. She is an eco-kid student at Canterlot High School and a full-time BMW technician.

Personality[]
Starlight is a friendly and chill girl. Being a nanny to both Princess Zooey and Lemon Zest from Crystal Prep, she always acts the same way as Sour Sweet.
Appearance[]
Starlight has a light-green skin tone, she has purple eyes and a long purple hair tied in low pigtails. She wears a brown buttoned vest over a white blouse with puff shoulders, a calf-length red skirt and purple pumps with a star logo. She also wears a star-shaped necklace.

Equestria Girls (2013)[]
In the first Equestria Girls film, Fitzgerald first appears during the song This Strange World standing on the stairs at CHS as Captain Planet speaks to her and later appears eating watermelon while sitting with the other eco-kids in the CHS cafeteria. The next day, she appears entering the school and sits with the other eco-kids during the Cafeteria Song. She later appears in the gym after it is cleaned up and appears attending the Fall Formal, during which she and the other students are hypnotized by Sunset Shimmer into being her personal army to invade Equestria. They are freed when Twilight Sparkle and her new friends defeat Sunset Shimmer.
Rainbow Rocks[]
Fitzgerald returns in Rainbow Rocks as she appears in the CHS hallway carrying art supplies to the gymnasium with Wiz Kid, where she appears working on a poster for the CHS musical showcase with Bright Idea and Mystery Mint. During the song Better Than Ever, she appears walking through the CHS hallway talking to Wiz Kid. During the song Battle of the Bands, she appears in the cafeteria as the Dazzlings begin to hypnotize the students. She later attends the musical showcase where she and the other students are further brainwashed by the Dazzlings. After she and the other students are freed from the spell by the Rainbooms, they boo the Dazzlings after they lose their singing ability. She later appears in the audience when Trixie attempts to make her escape from the amphitheater.
Friendship Games[]
Fitzgerald returns in Friendship Games as she appears in the gymnasium during the CHS Rally Song. She later has a speaking role greeting the human Twilight Sparkle as she arrives at CHS from Crystal Prep Academy, mistaking her for her twin sister. She later attends the CHS Welcome Party, appears in the hallway walking with Paisley and listening to the announcement for the first day of the Friendship Games and spectating the first two events. Towards the end of the film, she appears walking outside the front of the school with Paisley and Sweet Leaves. During the film credits, she appears in photographs during the CHS pep rally and in Scribble Dee's selfie taken in Cranky Doodle's class.
Legend of Everfree[]
Fitzgerald returns in Legend of Everfree as she attends the school field trip to Camp Everfree. She makes several background appearances emptying a large bag, sitting on a picnic table with Captain Planet, walking near the rock climbing wall with Watermelody as the ground begins to quake, and holding a paper lantern. When Gloriosa Daisy encases the camp in brambles, she strokes her chin during the song We Will Stand For Everfree before she runs into the mess hall. She later appears entering the Crystal Gala fundraiser with Scott Green.

The Quest for Equestria[]
Fitzgerald returns in the film The Quest for Equestria as her name is mentioned by both Lemon Zest and Zooey to Jake, Izzy and Cubby during their trip to the Olympic National Park in Washington. Noticing that she's slightly different than Starlight Glimmer and the nanny to both Lemon Zest and Zooey, she makes her first speaking role in the film as Lemon Zest and Zooey returns home from vacation. In addition, she's really delightful to meet Jake, Izzy and Cubby for the very first time, despite the fact that she hasn't watch the old Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates before. In addition, she drives a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter the next morning with Sandbar sitting next to her once she joins the expedition.
Lemon Zest Rules[]
Fitzgerald returns in the film Lemon Zest Rules as she and her friends return from the nearest IKEA and eats pesto spaghetti for lunch. When the Eco-kids asks Fitzgerald about a the pirate guy entering Crystal Prep with spiky black hair, wearing a red bandana around his head (compared to Captain Planet's green bandana) and a sword made out of wood, Fitzgerald claims that the pirate guy happens to be Jake until she gives her friends a DVD of the old Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates, leaving a dismayed Paisley as she's not attempting to watch the show and only made for children. Much to Fitzgerald's disagreement, she tells the Eco-kids that Sebastian and Gordon used to watch the show Jake and the Never Land Pirates since the two brothers are little babies. And thus, a joyful Eco-Kids are willing to watch the show itself.
Fitzgerald later reappears the next morning where the rest of the crew is scolded by an angry Cheerilee as a result of watching the old Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates all night, making the TV itself exposed. An infuriated Cheerilee is not attempting to watch the show Jake and the Never Land Pirates as it's only aimed for children below 5 years old. However, the Eco-Kids pleads Cheerilee to watch the show, much to her frustration.
A Swashbuckling Vacation[]
Fitzgerald returns in the film A Swashbuckling Vacation as she's happy to reunite with Jake, Izzy, Cubby, Jewel and Sofia again (but this time, they bring Fizzlepop Berrytwist with them) until Canterlot High School's Eco-Kids team meets Jake, Izzy and Cubby for the very first time, including team Flash Drive (specifically James and Watermelody) and Pauly Sentry, Flash's little sister, the full time Deviantart user.
Throughout the film, Fitzgerald and the convoy becomes annoyed with the song Bad Boys by Jamaican reggae band Inner Circle (from the American TV show Cops) until the Indonesian song Jomblo Happy is played. In addition, Fitzgerald and her team attended the funfair, becomes uncomfortable with Sofia peeing in water bottles as a result of drinking too much lemonade, the pig farting in the van and using the minibar, her hair tangled during the road trip chaos, Abacus Cinch stealing their luggage, covered in soap, attacked by seagulls, cinnamon roll explosion and covered in mud. However, despite all the chaos she and her team faces, she still manages to arrive at the White House in Washington DC on time and celebrate Flurry Heart's birthday.
Princess Ella Sofie[]
Fitzgerald's final appearance was in the film Princess Ella Sofie in which she and her team in Sandalwood's 1996 Mercedes-Benz S420 (W140) are travelling to the Hecla-Grindstone Provincial Park in Canada's province of Manitoba due to the absence of Jake, Izzy, Cubby, Jewel, Sofia and Mane 10. Subsequently followed by the Amber Crew (Princess Amber, Princess Hildegard, Huckleberry Pie, Blueberry Muffin, Derpy, Bon Bon, Lyra and Emelina), team Flash Drive (Flash Sentry, Brawly Beats, Ringo, Oona, James and Watermelody), the Shadowbolts (Fleur de Lis, Indigo Zap, Kadence Ann, Lemon Zest, Princess Clio, Princess Zooey, Sour Sweet, Sugarcoat, Sunny Flare and Suri Polomare) and fellow YouTuber from Malaysia Muhammad Syamim, the whole crew reunites with each other until they meet Syamim for the very first time.
Throughout the film, Fitzgerald and the crew sleeps at her house in Meredith, New Hampshire, travels back to Equestria via York Middle School, enters the Castle of Friendship, helps Jake, Izzy, Cubby, Jewel, Sofia and Mane 10 as well as Ella, Jacob, Jaidyn, Lyla, Sophie, Thea and Willa after suffering broken hooves, legs and hands, prepares for war and even fights Dread in order to free Fluttershy, Sofia and Twilight out of prison.

The Abandoned Kingdom of Enchancia[]
Fitzgerald first appeared in the MLP: FIM x Jake and the Never Land Pirates film series starting with the film The Abandoned Kingdom of Enchancia in which she is seen driving her Titanium Silver Metallic 2001 BMW 750iL E38 with her bandmates sitting in the back seats. Subsequently followed by team Flash Drive (Flash Sentry, Brawly Beats, Ringo, Prince James, Prince Zandar, Oona and Watermelody) in Zandar's white 7-seater Range Rover P400 SE SUV, Fitzgerald is on the run to Enchancia after being aware that the Mane 10 (including Liezel, Lightning Dust, Nathellie Ballerie and Nazz Abdullah) has gone missing.
Throughout the film, Fitzgerald finds the Mane 10 (including Ardini, Alvin Bradley, Dolly, Liezel, Lightning Dust, Nathellie Ballerie and Nazz Abdullah) at the abandoned kingdom of Enchancia, all being extremely exhausted renovating the castle, but to no avail due to massive costs and lack of skilled workers who can deal with the situation. And thus, this action prompts Fitzgerald to join the team and continue renovating the abandoned kingdom of Enchancia back to its original glory. After finishing the renovation, Jake, Moondancer, Sofia and their two kids in Sean's red RAM 1500 TRX pickup truck shows up, followed by Toola Roola, Coconut Cream, Cedric, Cordelia and Calista and the Ballerie-Philip family. Fitzgerald is last seen having a feast with the other characters.
Riding On a Sleeper Train[]
In the film Riding On a Sleeper Train, Fitzgerald and her bandmates are accompanied by the Nahwan sisters (both Nafisah and Nadhirah) at the Grand Central Station in New York City. Subsequently followed by cab driver Richard Stanton and his girlfriend Kerfuffle, Fitzgerald will spend 72 hours inside each sleeper train from New York City to Seattle.
Throughout the film, Fitzgerald and her pals boards Amtrak's Lake Shore Limited sleeper train and sleeps with Sandalwood. After reaching the city of Chicago, Illinois, she took a sightseeing tour of the city and have lunch at Lou Malnati's Pizzeria. Once she boards Amtrak's Empire Builder double decker sleeper train from Chicago to Seattle, she pulls over to the train station in Minot, North Dakota where she, her bandmates, the Nahwan sisters, Kerfuffle and Richard meets up with the Edwards family, the Mane 10, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Didar, Marina, Simone, Stormy and Trishna.
She then reaches Seattle, took a bus, crosses the border into Canada and reaches the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia, spending 2 nights. On the 2nd day, Fitzgerald took a trip to Squamish where she rides the Sea to Sky Gondola cable car and took out their phones and film videos while the cable car is moving glimpsing a view of Vancouver from above. In the process, she took a chance to walk along the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge and have lunch at the Sky Pilot Restaurant where Fitzgerald and the team eat chili cheese fries together.
To Malaysia We Go![]
Fitzgerald returns in the film To Malaysia We Go in which she and her Eco-Kids are seen showing up at Istana Bukit Serene in Malaysia's state of Johor (especially its capital city Johor Bahru) reuniting with the Mane 10 and the Castro-Robinson family after getting an invitation to a big convoy across the country. She is then seen riding an Isuzu D-Max pickup truck at the starting line.
Throughout the film, Fitzgerald pays a visit to Johor's small town of Batu Pahat, took a trip to Malaysia's small state of Malacca sitting between Johor to the south and Negeri Sembilan to the north facing the Strait of Malacca, reuniting with Professor Hasbullah at the Noble Resort Hotel, explore all of Malacca City's landmarks such as [ Jonker Walk], the Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum, Christ Church, Stadthuys (Dutch Square), the Proclamation of Independence Memorial and took a cruise on the Malacca River.
After passing all states, Fitzgerald then took a cargo plane from Kuantan, Pahang all the way to Sibu, Sarawak spending 4 days, crosses the border to Brunei and back into Sabah climbing up Malaysia's highest mountain: Mount Kinabalu, taking 2 days. After reaching the top, Fitzgerald then took the VIA FERRATA (Italian for IRON ROAD) to climb down the mountain. Upon reaching the bottom, Fitzgerald and the Eco-Kids gets the certificates and photos at the counter and leave the park until the Nahwan sisters shows up reuniting with Hasbullah. She is last seen after the post credits explaining the long journey across Malaysia.
The Defender Diaries[]
Fitzgerald returns in the film The Defender Diaries in which she is seen sitting in the backseats of Paisley's designo Selenite Gray Magno 2020 Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon with Captain Planet and Sweet Leaves by her side.
Throughout the film, Fitzgerald crosses the sea by ferry to Massachusetts' island of Martha's Vineyard, meets up with the Nahwan sisters, Toola Roola and Coconut Cream at Lambert's Cove Inn and Resort who brings a trio of mean girls Mandy, Caitlin and Dominique with them, takes a tour of the island, swims in the sea not too far from the beach, eats a plate of linguine carbonara spaghetti with prosciutto for lunch at the Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta Restaurant, has a video chat with the Mane 10, the 10 Crusaders, Alex, Blaine, Britney, Clover, Diana, Flurry, Martin, Pound, Pumpkin and Samantha who are in the island of Nantucket, shows up at the Crusaders' house with all the necessary BBQ food and drinks,
