Sir Patrick Robert Tennyson is a character featured in the film The Race to Scotland and its sequel. He is an English landlord who is keen in helping Sunny Starscout in defeating sinister alicorn Opaline Arcana.

Sir Robert first appeared in the film The Race to Scotland in which he is seen greeting Amy, Anthony, Edryna, Elle, Greg, Hitch, Holly, Hope, Izzy, Jake, Jazz, Laura, Michael, Misty, Nadhirah, Nafisah, Pipp, Poppy, Rocky, Sean, Steven, Sunny, Sofia and Zipp at Sennen Cove, a seaside located in United Kingdom's England region. When Sunny adds that she and her crew are on the run to Scotland in order to deal with the evil alicorn Opaline Arcana who invaded the region, much to his agreement. He also brings the 24 pals consisting of humans and ponies to a hidden location where none of them will be spotted.
Throughout the film, Sir Roberts breaks the giant wooden crates down to reveal a group of red Ford Ranger Raptor Diesel trucks (set of 5), all of them having an Integrated Tailgate Step to ease entry and exit, a power retractable tonneau cover, a switch to move the steering column up, down, in and out, heated and cooled seats that can be turned on at the same time and power seat controls for the front seats. He ended up sleeping at the Premier Inn Hotel in Grimsby for 3 days, explaining Opaline Arcana's dark story to Sofia, depart for Edinburgh, Scotland, met up with Princess Amber, Aunt Tilly, Posey, Windy, Dipper, Mabel and Thomas Majchrzak in in Thurso, raiding Opaline's dark fortress and restrained her, thrown out of the fortress and held a meeting with the British royal family, the British Armed Forces and King Charles III in London's Buckingham Palace. In the ensuing scenes, he attacks the dragon with the British Armed Forces, plays a game of CATCH THE STAR where Sunny Starscout confiscates Opaline's emerald medallion, takes his seat at the Buckingham Palace where Misty Brightdawn is knighted by King Charles III and he is last seen watching Amber, Amy, Anthony, Dipper, Edryna, Elle, Gregory, Hitch, Holly, Hope, Izzy, Jake, Jazz, Laura, Mabel, Michael, Misty, Nadhirah, Nafisah, Pipp, Poppy, Posey, Rocky, Sean, Steven, Sunny, Sofia, Tilly and Zipp leave the UK using the raft that Nahwan Nafisah built earlier.
The Race to Africa[]
Sir Robert returns in the film The Race to Africa in which he greets the Mane 10 after entering the yellow warp pipe that leads the 4 humans and 6 ponies to Nairobi, Kenya. Subsequently followed by the Edwards family, Sir Robert also introduces the Mane 10 to Chloe Edwards, Jake and Sofia's youngest daughter, leaving them speechless.
Throughout the film, Sir Robert reveals a trio of Toyota GR Hilux pickup trucks (all with a canopy cover for the cargo bed), crosses the border to Tanzania (including the island of Zanzibar), meets up with Maya Syamelia after Zipp mentions her, camps in Tanzania's wilderness, camps around the campfire, enters an abandoned shopping mall in Kasama, Zambia, got attacked by an army of evil appliances and Furbies (including a giant one), got shocked after seeing all the people kidnapped by Elliot, Amy and Kurt, disguises as a robot, got kidnapped by the trio's powerful robots, spotted Chloe Edwards driving the Hilux in an attempt to evade the robots and he is freed from prison with the other people.
He is shocked to find Chloe being unconscious during the battle until she regains consciousness, much to his joy. After trotting back to Nairobi, Kenya, Sir Roberts adds that he will return to the UK. He also returns to the UK as the film ends.
Depiction In MLP: TYT x Jake and the Never Land Pirates[]
The Two Izzies Meet[]
Sir Robert returns in the MLP: TYT x Jake and the Never Land Pirates film series starting with the film The Two Izzies Meet in which he is seen sitting in the rear seats of Maya Syamelia's 2018 Lexus LS500 AWD on the run to find the Mane 10 after years of absence. Upon reunion, Sir Robert took a chance to meet Izzy Moonbow's Jake and the Never Land Pirates counterpart with the same Izzy name and Cubby Edwards for the first time.
Throughout the film, Sir Robert reaches Canada's Nadina Mountain and does some pushups before climbing, in addition to taking frequent stops for 30 minutes due to exhaustion on their bodies in an attempt to prevent coma on the long run. He watches the sun going down, sits around the campfire with his human-pony pals, bringing Hitch's baby dragon son Sparky Sparkeroni and he is last seen leaving the mountain behind as the film ends.
The Curse of King Kenton[]
Sir Robert returns in the film The Curse of King Kenton in which he appears as a hologram in the Crystal Brighthouse warning the Mane 10 about Scotland's city of Inverness being threatened by a greedy man named King Kenton who usurps the throne and seizes the Inverness Castle, much to the agreement of Sunny Starscout. He then later appears greeting the Mane 10, Izzy and Cubby Edwards, Mandy and her cousin Mindy upon reaching the UK's England region revealing a trio of W222 Mercedes-Benz S600 Sedans (all 3 cars being 2014 model year sedans, 5-seater configuration, rear climate control and entertainment systems) resembling the same car that Princess Amber used to own.
