Gregory Jonathan Nathaniel "Greg" Patterson is a character featured in the film My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and Jake and the Never Land Pirates - The Secret of Equestria's Landmarks. He is Cooper's little brother who becomes a lead vocalist and rapper of the Mane 10 in its sequel alongside Hacky Zak. He bears the Element of Hope.

Personality[]
Greg is a fun-loving kid who lives in the apartments above Papa's Pizzeria. He then joins the Mane 10 as both lead vocalist and rapper alongside his pal Hacky Zak.

Style A[]
Greg has fair skin, short brown hair and freckled cheeks. He wears a red shirt with off-white striped highlights and a small-eyed tomato printed on the left side of his shirt. He also wears brown pants held by a gray belt with a faded brown buckle and white sneakers with red laces. He also wears a red cap with green top and trims that look like tomato leaves, cream-colored front and a pair of goofy-looking eyes, made to resemble the Tomatoes from the Papa Louie platformer games.
Style B[]
He wears the Tastyville Tomatoes uniform, consisting of a pale green jersey with red buttons and vertical stripes, along with matching pants. He also wears a green cap that has red trims and a small tomato printed in the middle of it, a brown belt with a gray buckle and brown shoes with red laces and black soles.

The Secret of Equestria's Landmarks[]
Greg first appeared in the film The Secret of Equestria's Landmarks alongside his big brother Cooper, his sister-in-law Prudence (both being Papa's Pancakeria workers), Sunburst, his daughter Luster Dawn and the Young 6 in which the troop are taken by Nahwan Nafisah on a tour of Equestria's Castle of Friendship, how Princess Twilight Sparkle obtains it after the destruction of her Golden Oak Library that occured 14 years ago and has turned into a tourist attraction and 5-star hotel together after Princess Twilight dies. Noticing that the trio are on the run to find both Alberto and Penny, Nafisah brings them straight to the lounge room.
Throughout the film, Alberto, Laura, Nafisah, Penny, Sean, Luster, Sunburst, the Young 6, Cooper, Greg and Prudence stays at a hotel in Manehattan for the night, confronts the evil Boswell for kidnapping King Jacob and Queen Lyla until they got thrown out of Canterlot, sleeps in Hope Hollow for the night and reunites with Kerfuffle, doing aerobics the next morning while jamming to J. Perry's song Boujé, joins the Mane 10 into dethroning Boswell and they play a game of throwing Boswell's hat. Afterwards, King Jacob arrests Boswell for his crimes. Greg is also coronated by King Jacob and Queen Lyla during the ceremony and towards the end of the film, Alberto, Penny, Cooper, Greg and Prudence took a chance to meet Laura and Sean's parents while taking the two siblings back home.
Briar Beauty Strikes Back[]
Greg returns in the sequel Briar Beauty Strikes Back in which he and his new pal Hacky Zak permanently joins the Mane 10 after Sebastian and Gordon left the group and shifted to Kalispell, Montana to start a new life. He also mentions Nahwan Nafisah to Hacky Zak during his trip in the previous film with her Black Raven Cadillac Escalade V fighting criminals.
The Rise of Lucinda the Witch[]
Greg returns in the film The Rise of Lucinda the Witch in which he and Hacky Zak invites 4 sisters: Jade, Lucinda, Ruby and Trixie on a trip to the North Pole in order to face the Midnight Sun and Polar Night.
Throughout the film, Greg, Hacky, Jade, Lucinda, Ruby and Trixie took a row boat from Canada's Newfoundland and Labrador province to Nuuk in Greenland, then Iceland, into Norway and enter Sweden's Lapland region. During their journey, the 6 pals eats cashew nuts on the boat and Japan's most expensive wagyu steak for dinner. In the ensuing scenes, the 6 pals are picked up by an aspiring blonde woman named Jonna Jinton and her husband Johan after crossing the borders of Norway and Sweden by foot until they see all of Jonna's paintings after arriving at their house in a small village called Grundtjärn. In addition, Greg, Hacky, Jade, Lucinda, Ruby and Trixie are having fun at Finland's Santa Claus Village until Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Cooper, Nadhirah, Nafisah, Nevada, Prudence, Trishna, Utah, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Babs Seed, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Vivian and Yippy showed up, reuniting each other. Towards the end of the film, Greg, Hacky and the rest of the crew sings to the Daryl Hall and John Oates song Out of Touch and during the first half of the film's post credits, he and Hacky explains his long story exploring the North Pole to Fleur de Lis and Potion Nova.
Bouncing Around the World[]
In the film Bouncing Around the World, Greg, Hacky and the whole crowd started to cry and mourn in tears after their beloved member Twilight Sparkle started to fall ill due to a leukemia disease. When Twilight dies afterwards and buried the next morning, the Mane 9 started to become heartbroken without a backup vocal singer until Nevada shows up. Bringing her little sister Utah by her side, Nevada adds that Utah recently quit her job at Papa's Pastaria prior to joining a rock band. Starlight hires Utah as the band's backup vocal singer and Greg gives Utah the title ELEMENT OF INNOCENCE.
Throughout the film, Greg and his bandmates crosses the countries of Canada, Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Türkiye, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Sudan, Chad, Cameroon and Nigeria helping the poor people cleaning up the country. Towards the end of the film, he and the participants have a feast and Greg is last seen leaving Nigeria behind.
Equestria's Taxi Madness[]
In the film Equestria's Taxi Madness, Greg is one of the members to watch Starlight Glimmer leave the Rainbooms prior to missing her husband and her daughter, leaving him heartbroken. After Starlight left the band, Perri shows up with her Cadillac Lyriq, much to their joy. Afterwards, Perri takes her role as a keyboardist.
Throughout the film, Greg gets an unexpected visit from Nevada, Utah's big sister and former member Sebastian Robinson using Nevada's Monaco Yellow Bentley Flying Spur Speed bringing a trio of pals from Malaysia such as Muhammad Syamim, Nazz Abdullah and Professor Muhammad Hasbullah bin Padzillah until a speechless Greg, Hacky, Perri and Utah lost their words when Applejack, Fluttershy, Nevada, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Sebastian and Sunset can literally speak Malay. When his big brother Cooper, his sister-in-law Prudence along with Espen and Yuko showed up the next morning with Cooper's Glacier White Metallic Audi RS5 Sportback 2.9 V6 Quattro, Cooper, Prudence, Espen and Yuko for the first time. Only to be aware that Nevada, Sebastian and the Mane 10 (including Greg) can speak Malay, Cooper, Prudence, Espen and Yuko becomes speechless when Greg, Hacky, Perri and Utah can do so and Nevada adds that her husband learned to speak Malay when he first came to Malaysia with Sunset Shimmer 10 years ago.
During the film's climax, Greg joins the whole crew to Hope Hollow and meet up with the residents (including Kerfuffle) to rescue Luster Dawn from the evil magician Boswell and engages a dance fight singing to Michael Jackson's song They Don't Care About Us until Boswell is shot to death and tells the story to Liezel at Papa's Paleteria during the film's mid-credits.
The Abandoned Kingdom of Enchancia[]
Greg returns in the film The Abandoned Kingdom of Enchancia in which he and his bandmates are concerned when Liezel gets a letter inside a wine bottle. Only to be aware that the letter is written by Cedric the Sorcerer, Greg gives Liezel a DVD of the old Disney Junior TV series Sofia The First, leaving a speechless Liezel.
Throughout the film, Greg and his bandmates picks up Lightning Dust, Nathellie Ballerie and Nazz Abdullah at the Bangor International Airport and departs for Enchancia, spent 7 days and nights inside Princess Amber's old bedroom, finds Amber's old W222 Mercedes-Benz S550 hibernating inside the basement car park under the castle for years and spent more than 1,000 hours, days, months and years rejuvenating the old W222 with Alvin, Ardini and Doo Wop showing up. Greg and the team also spent more than 3 days to renovate the old Enchancia castle, but to no avail due to extensive costs and lack of skilled workers until team Flash Drive (Flash Sentry, Brawly Beats, Ringo, James, Zandar, Oona and Watermelody), the Eco-Kids (Captain Planet, Paisley, Sandalwood, Starlight Fitzgerald and Sweet Leaves), Toola Roola, Coconut Cream, Cedric, Cordelia and Calista shows up, convincing the workers to continue their task and not quit. Greg reunites with Jake, his wife Sofia, their two kids Laura and Sean as well as the Philip family (Giselle, Robert and Morgan). Greg also gets his clothes dirty due to all the work he has done, prompting him and the workers to change for some nice clothes. He is also last seen having a feast with the whole cast.
Riding On a Sleeper Train[]
Greg returns in the film where he and his bandmates mourn the death of Sunset Shimmer after she passed away in a head-on car crash with Adagio Dazzle in her red Toyota Corolla Cross, prompting Liezel to join the band, playing on both rhythm guitar and backing vocals.
Throughout the film, Greg reappears sitting inside Applejack's Ultra White 2023 Lexus LX600 F-Sport AWD with Applejack behind the wheel, Liezel, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Stormy and Trishna out on the road to Indianapolis, Indiana for a convoy vacation, pulling over to a train station in Minot, North Dakota to meet up with Kerfuffle, Richard, the Eco-Kids and the Nahwan sisters after Amtrak's Empire Builder train pulls over for an hour, meets up in Canada's towns of Jasper, Alberta and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where he takes a tour of both towns, eats some Coronation Chicken sandwiches from Papa's Cluckeria for breakfast and purchased a complete set of Last Mountain Berry Farm jams (including Saskatoon Berry Jam) on the way home.
Towards the end of the film, Greg celebrates the return of Kerfuffle, Richard Stanton, the Eco-Kids and the Nahwan sisters at Toronto's Union Station and celebrates the victory together. He is also last seen leaving Toronto's Union Station with the other characters.
