Fleur de Lis

Fleur de Lis is a female unicorn supermodel who first appears in the season 2 episode Sweet and Elite of the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Her human counterpart appears throughout the Equestria Girls film series and a member to Princess Sofia.

Portrayers[]

Nicole Oliver previously played both Fleur de Lis and Princess Celestia, but from Crystal Prep High Rocks and above, Elle Fanning plays both Fleur and Lemon Meringue while Cate Blanchett plays Celestia.

Season 2[]

MMM A PONY WITH EXPENSIVE TASTES I SEE — Mmm, a pony with expensive tastes, I see.

Fleur is introduced in Sweet and Elite. Her first appearance is with Fancy Pants when Rarity bumps into him while carrying Opalescence and a large array of bags. She pulls one of Rarity's bags of feathers off of his head and brushes him off, then uses her magic to pick up the feathers for Rarity. She spends much of the scene caressing or leaning on Fancy Pants and striking poses. Near the end of the scene, she does not immediately notice when he walks away, and when she does notice, she quickly dashes away after him. She next appears twice during the song Becoming Popular: in one of the checkerboard squares of Canterlot ponies and later alongside Fancy Pants.

Season 4[]

Fleur appears together with Fancy Pants again briefly in Rarity Takes Manehattan during the song Generosity as well as in the audience during the fashion show. In Equestria Games, she sits between Cherry Jubilee and Fancy Pants in the stadium.

Season 5[]

Fleur appears in Amending Fences with Fancy Pants. In Canterlot Boutique, she appears at Canterlot Carousel's grand opening briefly an alicorn, and orders a Princess Dress. This marks the first in-show time she appears without Fancy Pants. In Crusaders of the Lost Mark, Fleur and Fancy Pants walk by Diamond Tiara and Spoiled Rich.

Season 7[]

Fleur appears outside of Canterlot Carousel along with Fancy Pants in Forever Filly, and she watches Princess Luna's royal carriage roll through Canterlot in A Royal Problem.

Season 8[]

Fleur appears sitting between Fancy Pants and Princess Luna in the audience for the play in Horse Play.

Season 9[]

Fleur appears at the Canterlot Library in The Point of No Return and as a fan of buckball in Common Ground. In Between Dark and Dawn, Fleur gets assigned by Fluttershy to handle ponies waiting to get inside Canterlot castle.

In The Ending of the End - Part 2, Fleur takes shelter with Fancy Pants and other unicorns inside the School for Gifted Unicorns as Canterlot closes itself off from all the other pony races.

Friendship Games[]

Fleur's human form appears in Friendship Games as a student of Crystal Prep Academy. She is first seen passing human Twilight Sparkle in the academy halls and bumping into her. During the song What More Is Out There, Fleur closes a classroom's window curtain that Twilight looks into while singing. Fleur mostly appears throughout the film as a Friendship Games spectator and during Canterlot High School's welcome party for Crystal Prep, she offers a cupcake to Sandalwood. During Midnight Sparkle's rampage, she, Rarity and the other students almost fall into Canterlot, but is helped up by Indigo Zap and Lemon Zest.

Web Series[]

In School of Rock, Fleur briefly appears at the Natural History Museum. In Display of Affection, she appears admiring the improved window display made by Sunset Shimmer. In 5 Stars, she is at the Sweet Snacks Cafe again and is served by Pinkie, who already knew what she would order. She is so impressed that she gives the cafe a five star rating on Screech. In Run to Break Free, she appears talking to Ginger Owlseye on a sidewalk. In Five Lines You Need to Stand In, she appears standing with Ginger Owlseye in the Starswirled Music Festival's security line. She later appears alone in the festival's bathroom line, which Pinkie Pie turns into a conga line.

The Quest for Equestria[]

Fleur first appears across the Equestria Girls and Jake and the Never Land Pirates film series starting with The Quest for Equestria as she's among the students of Crystal Prep Academy who are aware that Amber Jewel and Princess Sofia adopted a trio of pirate children who happens to be Jake, Izzy and Cubby Edwards from the old Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates driving a W223 Mercedes-Benz S500 4Matic AMG Line to Crystal Prep, being aware that Jewel and Sofia flies high up into the air with Pixie Dust followed by the Young 6 (Gallus, Ocellus, Sandbar, Silverstream, Smolder and Yona), flies off Washington state's Mount Olympus with Izzy's Pixie Dust, take a dive at Lunch Lake with the other Shadowbolts (including Jake, Izzy and Cubby), sleep with Starlight Fitzgerald, sleep at the Castle of Friendship in Ponyville, reunites with the Leader 6 (Sky Beak, Thorax, Grampa Gruff, Ember, Prince Rutherford and Terramar), reviving Spike and the Mane 6 from stone, banished from Canterlot to Las Pegasus after Shuriki has been accused kidnapping Sofia and more.

Prince Jacob Wilde[]

Fleur returns in the film Prince Jacob Wilde in which she and her pals are having an assignment at Crystal Prep Academy until Lemon Zest, Sofia and Sugarcoat gets a message from Jacob Wilde, a former human guard in Canterlot, Equestria informing that the Mane 6 and the Alicorn princesses are dead (including Princess Twilight Sparkle), prompting Fleur and the Shadowbolts to do some research and travel to Equestria with the Pirate Princess using her Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Klassen Van. Fleur and the Shadowbolts arrives at Ponyville and met Jacob Wilde until she finds the Funeral of the Nine Mares where Princess Twilight Sparkle is buried earlier before arrival, prompting Fleur to comfort a heartbroken Princess Sofia after Princess Twilight Sparkle dies. Fleur meets up with Sunburst, Soarin and Spitfire the next morning at the Castle of Friendship and decided to help Sunburst warn Starlight Glimmer and Sunset Shimmer about Princess Twilight Sparkle's death until a terrified Sunburst loses his horn while Soarin and Spitfire loses their wings after the trio turned themselves into humans (similar to the first Equestria Girls film where the antagonistic Sunset Shimmer steals Princess Twilight Sparkle's crown).

Throughout the film, Fleur is shaken in any direction while she and her pals are sleeping inside the Sprinter's back seats due to Cubby's attempt in getting behind the wheel, causing him to lose control and crashes straight into the barn, which prompts Fleur, Jacob, the Pirate Princess, the Shadowbolts, Sunburst, Soarin and Spitfire to sleep for the night. She is then chased by men the next morning for trespassing private property and Jacob decided to reunite with his family again. After returning to Equestria, she then ended up meeting Twilight Velvet and Night Light who also mourns Princess Twilight Sparkle's death.
