Daniel Jason Bartholomew "Danny" Campbell-Patterson is a debutant character who first appeared in the film To Malaysia We Go and becomes the main protagonist in the sequel My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and Jake and the Never Land Pirates - Superheroes Unite. He is Cooper and Prudence's son who runs a pancake business with his whole family.

To Malaysia We Go![]
Daniel first appeared in the MLP: FIM x Jake and the Never Land Pirates film series starting with the film To Malaysia We Go in which he is seen arriving at Nahwan Nafisah's house with his family and grandparents while his uncle Greg is off to Malaysia. Subsequently followed by Nafisah's workers Mystery Mint, Cherry Crash, Thunderbass Capaldi, Crimson Napalm and Valhallen, he is seen having dinner with the others.
Superheroes Unite[]
Daniel returns in the film Superheroes Unite in which he is seen running a business with his family at their house in Churchill Falls, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. When he and his siblings came out of the house to investigate, a ghost of Princess Twilight Sparkle appeared into the sky warning Daniel and his sisters that an arrogant, greedy and immature Yui often plunders and terrorizes Equestria by stealing almost every single golden bit in the land, leading to bad poverty. Shocked by the story told by their mother's story, Daniel and his sisters quickly packed their bags and departs for Equestria with his Curva Red 2023 Acura TLX Type-S PMC Edition.
Throughout the film, Daniel, Kate and Pam visited the Funeral of the Nine Mares where the trio cries in tears after Princess Twilight Sparkle passed away for more than 1,000 years ago until they ended up meeting Fizzlepop Berrytwist, the Storm King's former lieutenant. He and his sisters took a chance to sleep inside Carousel Boutique in which Rarity used to own, live and run a business before her death. He then meets a male hippogriff named Terramar the next morning and becomes fascinated when Terramar mentions the Young 6 which includes his big sister Silverstream. In the ensuing scenes, he meets female pirate parrot Captain Celaeno and her crew Squabble, Lix Spittle, Boyle and Mullet, does tons of pirate ship activities such as sword fighting and boxing, has a video chat with his parents and the Nahwan sisters, travels to Hope Hollow where they meet all the ponies (including Mayor Sunny Skies and his wife Petunia Petals, the owner of Hotel Hope) and took a chance to sleep for two nights.
